Shown Eyelet (L): Philip Organic Cotton (100% cotton; 218 yard [200m]/ 50g); Pink, 3 balls

Shown Plain (L): elann.com Peruvian Baby Lace Merino (50% baby alpaca, 50% fine merino; 600yard [550m]/50g): Col#1084 Banana Cream, 1 ball

NEEDLES

Size 5 (3.75mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

I had originally wanted to create an easy shawl pattern for my friends and beginning knitters. I knitted first shawl used Noro Kueyon sock yarn and showed photos to my friend. She suggested that the eyelets were similar to the spade shaped motives of the Yuhan Kimberly company campaign’s logo plant trees in South Korea. I remember. I could see those three threes often at the side of tissue box when I was grow. I named this shawl Kimberly. Luckily, it’s my one of favorite female names.

Kimberly 3 - another Kimberly

This is a different version of Kimberly shawl. Same pattern. Just I put st sts on main section.
It's the first time I used lace yarn. very light and soft.
I droped down my needle oftern. But, I couldn't stop knitting.

It's good match banana cream color shawl with wild flowers
My husband took pictures for me. It's the last Kimberly I made for pattern test.

Kimberly 2

It's my second "Kimberly" shawl. I'm learning how much important to test knitting. I'm getting test same pattern again and again. I used organic cotton. It's toally different with woolen yarn. But, it has own charm and gave us comfortable. I did blocking over 1 week. But, sharp edges are gone so quickly.
I made pattern already and I will sale English version of this pattern soon.

It's gone to my mother in law. When I'm looking at this shawl on her shoulders, I'm so happy.
