Qunice and Co: Chickadee, Lark and Yarn colour card

I've got yarn yesterday afternoon from Qunice&C o.
I ordered chickadee 1 skein, lark 1 skein and yarn colour card.
Those are came to with cute post card.
I like Pam Allen's deaign and her style at the hand knitting industry.
When she made her own brand with her friends, I felt quriocity about yarn.

It's so basic and simple 100% woolen yarn. It has 6 color groups and 4 different weights.
Before I ordered for my design and e-books, I want to know about feeling and color on my hand.

I like it. Ready to knit swatch,

Meet colour

When D'Arcy finished his work early, we went to out for walk together. I met Ontario lake few days later I came to Canada. I asked him that it's really lake? Not the sea? He laugh a lot. I wanted to taste the water and check aht it's salty or not. But, he didn't let me do that.

My mom, she was a gril from Island in south part of Korea. Her accent was unique and Korean tread them from Jeju island like foriegners sometimes. I ate fish a lot when I was a kid and still my mom send me dry sea food often. The lake reminds me sea of the Jeju and my mom. Happy memories make me smile.

We went out day before yesterday evening. It was windy but enough to talk and walk with hold our hands each other.
I took some picture - pebbles, old walls, sky and apple trees... Panit coudn't make real colour of nature.

Ecoknit / Superwasshed Merino Aran

I bought yarn at the Wooktyme Kingston week ago. Some of them are for gauge test and some ot them are for Entralec vest new version.

Ecoknit is a 100% organic cotton and 50g per 100m Dk weight yarn.
I selected this yarn just because of the colour. So soft and mild. Nomarly 100% cotton is too heavy for garment and I don't use it much. But, it's different. I just make them balls used winder. At the level, it has 21 st sts gauge.

These are Diamond Luxury collection Fine Merino Superwashed Aran. Aran weight. But, it shows wortsted weight gauge to me. It gave me funny feeling on my finger. Very tangled. I love it.
Each colours are clean and lovely. But, I'm getting bord becaue I'm taking off the part few times and knit again and again. I bought this yarn for my entralec vest. There are many way in this tecqnic and I'm trying to different way that I naver have been knitted. The Progress of this vest is almost 70% and fit on me so well.

Entrelac Vest 2008

September 6, 2008~ September 12, 2008

I looked forward to my Ravelry and found out this vest.

I made this vest from Sep 6 2008 to Sep 12 2008. It took just a week.

I bought soft superwashed marino yarn at the Wooltyme Kingston few days ago.

Knitting new Entrelac vest and write up pattern will be my next goal.

I'm spending 1 and half or two months for writing up pattern and I'm still holding few desgins.
Sometimes, it's really boring and need a rest for getting fresh feeling.

It will be a fun adventure and I always love play with numbers.
There are many different "know how" to knit Entrelac. I did tested already few ways.
I'm thinking about 9 or 12 sizing. I will try to keep body shape and little bit longer lengh.

Spend few days for testing gauge. It's time to start.

drew illustration

When idea's pop up on my mind, I do rough sketch on the paper.
Sometimes, I drew illustration again and it make that idea is clear. It has been a long time I drew illustrarion.
It's drew.

I didn't get back sence of my finger tips yet. But, if I don't give up and try again and again.
I'm sure that I can drew better oneday.

I like the result. Garment I made, it's not different with illust.
